Lesson 3: Secondary Colors
The secondary colors are green, purple, and orange. Secondary colors are made by mixing two of the primary colors

Activities:
1.Color Wheel: Print color wheel and color in sections green, purple, and orange. Glue color wheel to a piece of paper board (cereal box) for stability.
Primary and Secondary Color Wheel
- Find objects that match colors and place them on matching color. Take color wheel around house or to the store and match colors to colors.
Supplies:
- color wheel print-off
- crayons - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple
- scissors (parent help may be needed)
- glue
- paperboard (cereal box) or poster board
2.Secondary Color Collage: On a white piece of poster board or card stock create a collage using green, orange, and purple construction paper. Students can cut or tear paper. They can overlap pieces or create an image. Give students creative freedom to make whatever they want in their way.

- construction paper - purple, green, and orange
- scissors (parent help may be needed)
- glue
- poster board
